A Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) is a compact, low-speed, fully electric vehicle designed for short-distance travel on local roads rather than highways. Typically limited to a top speed of around 25 mph and legally restricted to streets with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less, LSVs prioritize efficiency, simplicity, and ease of use over high performance. They are commonly used in residential communities, campuses, beach towns, and urban areas where trips are short and parking is limited. Powered by rechargeable batteries, LSVs produce zero tailpipe emissions and offer a cost-effective, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cars for everyday errands and local transportation.

Is an LSV Street Legal? Not by defintion. There are plenty of non-DOT compliant vehicles on the market that fit the bill, and others that make you buy expensive add-ons before you can hit the streets. But at Wink Motors, we don't cut corners with safety. The Mark3 is fully loaded by default, street legal, insurable, and luxurous.

The big selling point of an LSV is the fully-electric motor. That means it's a zero emissions vehicle with a much smaller footprint than the leading EVs. That means you're paying less at the pump AND at the charger. The planet (and your wallet) will thank you.
